I had the opportunity to participate in the Easter sunrise procession with the people of the Gitsegukla village. We met at the church at sunrise, and walked through the village to the cemetery, taking turns carrying a simple cross. At the cemetery, the minister gave a small service, then we walked back for breakfast in the church.
